Incident management
The National sample assessment protocols outline the guidelines for the management and administration of the NAP sample assessments.
Each school involved in the NAP sample assessments is also provided with an Assessment administrator’s manual which clearly outlines the general rules administrators must observe during their management of the assessments. Typically the administrator will be the regular teacher of each selected class. As stated in their manual, administrators should make a note of any problems encountered during the assessment on the necessary form which is then forwarded to the relevant contractor acting on behalf of ACARA.
To ensure security of NAP sample assessment items, no copying of assessment materials, photographs or video recordings of the sessions are allowed. For more information, see The tests.
